1. Tickled pink
Estar satisfecho, muy feliz o delicado con cualquier situación.

2. See pink elephants
Cuando alguien ve algo que nadie más ve, ya sea literal o figuradamente. Significa algo imaginario.

1. To be green
Decir que alguien está quieto o es inmaduro / sin experiencia.
Ej: He can be rather green sometimes. I don’t think he’s ready to be promoted to a higher position yet.
2. Green with envy
Se usa para describir a alguien que está poseído por la envidia y los celos.
Ej: When we were children, my older brother always used to get green with envy if my dad bought something for me and not for him.

1. Out of the blue
Cuando algo o alguien aparece de la nada, sin ningún tipo de advertencia.

2. A blue-eyed boy
Expresión utilizada para clasificar a alguien que es tratado de manera especial y se le otorgan privilegios.

Cuando alguien está triste o deprimido.

Golden idioms
1. A golden opportunity
En español, “oportunidad de oro”, es decir, una oportunidad única que no se puede perder.
Ej: Think carefully about what you’re going to do, this is a golden opportunity, and you don’t want to mess it up!
2. A golden handshake
Gran cantidad de dinero que se paga a un empleado relevante cuando se jubila.

1. As white as a sheet
Cuando alguien tiene mucho miedo o ansiedad.
Ej: Francine are you alright? You’re as white as a sheet, what’s the matter?
2. Raise a white flag
Significa que una de las partes en una discusión, debate o similar ha ganado y la otra se ha rendido.
